Me: "Analia"
NGATO: "They call you Analia for short?"
Me: "They call me Ana but I prefer my full name...My family members call me Ani"
Other co-worker: "You don't like Ana?! I've been calling you that for 5 years!!!"
Me: "I know. I respond to it but it's very basic."
no offence to Ana's around the globe - I loooooooove my full name. I don't want to anglicize my name anymore than it has; just because it takes effort to pronounce and remember it.
